Prior to founding B&I, Larry was the Global Head of Technology Law at Lehman Brothers. Few attorneys have more experience in crafting and implementing practical solutions for clients relating to information technology, intellectual property licensing and other commercial transactions that impact daily business operations.

Larry has negotiated hundreds of customer-side IT, IP licensing and outsourcing transactions, ranging from complex IT development, software-as-a-service, and IT and business process outsourcing transactions, to routine software license, professional services, IT re-seller, hardware purchase and maintenance, and market data transactions.

Larry has been the lead negotiator on numerous vendor-side IT, IP licensing and outsourcing transactions. From his experience in-house and as outside counsel, Larry has a unique understanding of the marketplace and the issues that matter the most to business teams and their advisors.

Prior to joining B&I as a founding member, Rusty was Of Counsel at the Global Outsourcing Group at Morgan Lewis & Bockius and before MLB, was a member of the Global Sourcing Group at Pillsbury. Rusty is a top legal advisor in the outsourcing field. He brings deep knowledge, experience and know-how of the outsourcing deal lifecycle, whether it be off-shoring, information technology, business process, human resource, procurement or other sourcing projects.

From the start of his legal career, Rusty has focused on enabling businesses formulate sourcing strategies, conduct competitive bids, engage in vendor analysis, negotiate complex agreements and provide post-execution contract interpretations and monitoring. Rusty’s other, major areas of focus also include advising purchasers in commercial and other corporate business services contracts with suppliers and negotiating software licensing and maintenance, systems integration and other technology services-related transactions.

Prior to his legal career, Rusty was an award-winning, certified landscape architect. He also served as an adjunct professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

As a landscape architect, handled landscape design, planning and urban design projects, with special emphasis on hotel and entertainment landscapes. Prior to joining B&I as Of Counsel, Marc was a senior associate in Pillsbury's Global Sourcing group. He has extensive knowledge of, and experience with, sourcing transactions, particularly with respect to those conducted by financial institutions.

From the beginning of his legal career, Marc has focused on advising clients in global outsourcing initiatives, software license agreements, telecommunications agreements, and related corporate transactions. He has recently assisted international, national, and regional financial institutions in the negotiation of global information technology and business process outsourcing transactions and has extensive experience in all phases of such endeavors, from developing sourcing strategies and preparing requests for proposals (RFPs) through final contract negotiations. He has also negotiated various software licensing and implementation agreements and has experience in advising clients on e-commerce, Web hosting and other Internet-related issues.
